F.L.A.G. Team

Freedom Liberty and Glory

Sgt. Mac Mcclain began this team with the purpose to inform students, teachers and the general public about the history of the American Flag and how to show respect at the appropriate times and places.

Bottom Row:  Cpl Tom Tolentino, Cpl Delmar Petersen, Sgt Bill Pugh, SSgt Manuel Precie, Sgt Terry Stucker, Cpl Jim Coen,

Top Row:  Cpl. Alex Ramirez,  Cpl Louis "Butch" Fischer, Sgt Dick Legarra

The FLAG team teaches the students and others how our national

flag has evolved from forty-plus battle flags to what it is today. We also

demonstrate how to display the flag in various places and

situations; how to respect the flag and proper saluting; how to

properly dispose an unserviceable flag (tattered, torn, faded, etc.).

Finally, we demonstrate how to properly fold a flag and how to

store the flag. We also invite all in attendance to come forward.

to learn how to fold the flag.
