U.S. Marines Air Assault • Fly In - Get It Done - Fly Out

U.S. Marines conduct an air assault via MV-22B Ospreys, flying into a simulated combat zone and executing an infantry bounding maneuver. Then they are extracted on the Ospreys back to base as part of Weapons and Tactics Instructor (WTI) course 2-16 at East Tac Airfield in Arizona on April 8, 2016. WTI is a seven week training event hosted by Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron One (MAWTS-1) which emphasizes operational integration of the six functions of Marine Corps aviation in support of a Marine Air Ground Task Force.
